Stand out from the crowd by introducing yourself to the world in a DIGITAL WAY  - IDONWWW

The BIKI is the “world’s first bionic unmanned underwater drone,” or so says the company making it, Robosea . BIKI, an adorable underwater drone that takes the shape of a bionic fish! Imagined by the designers of Robosea, this little drone will capture underwater photos and videos, controlled from a smartphone. Requiring much less power than an aerial drone, the BIKI is capable of filming in 4K for more than 2 hours, and diving to a depth of 60 meters! It is also capable of avoiding obstacles and returning alone to its base.

BIKI also applies the technology of ABS crash-worthiness and resistance-to-weathering. hence, no matter what difference in temperature, corrosive offshore environments, or under long-term sunlight, the bionic robot will always remain in perfect condition.  Obviously the biggest difference between BIKI and other underwater drones is its physical shape and design. It looks like a fish, flappy fin and everything. They claim it will move through the water at over 1 mph, and do so very quietly. It automatically sets its own buoyancy and level, which is pretty clever. Built-in GPS returns it to you if it goes out of range. Two 114-lumen LEDs light up the underwater world.

How is this thing controlled? According to Robosea, "BIKI is the only underwater robot fish that applies the technology of infrared rays and features the functions of automated balance, obstacle avoidance, and return-to-base." You can either steer BIKI with the native remote or via an iOS/Android app. But the really cool thing is how this "robot fish" manoeuvres, in general.

specifications:

• compact size: 2.4 pounds, 10.47-inch long, 4.17-inch wide and 5.83-inch high
• durable open shell
• nine-axle sensor
• robosea algorithm
• underwater suspension
• 1.12 mph fishtail-driven design
• 196-foot maximum depth
• 55db ultra silent
• 124° wide-angle lens
• 32 gb internal memory
• 2*307 lumen lights
• wireless control and transmission
• route customization
• 4K ultra-high definition (UHD) resolution: 3840 pixels × 2160 lines
• 8.3 megapixels, aspect ratio 16:9

The battery is said to last around 90-120 minutes. When it drops to 20%, it heads back to you, thanks to the aforementioned GPS and an IMU (inertial measurement unit). Perhaps most impressive is they claim BIKI can submerge to 196 feet.

Inside is a camera that can shoot 4K video and 16 megapixel photos through a 150-degree wideangle lens. Robosea claims 90-120 minutes of record time. With the whole chassis wiggling from the fin’s wagging, I couldn't imagine how any of the videos would be remotely watchable. Robosea claims: “The IMU and exclusive algorithm ROBOSEA™ allows BIKI to keep its balance in the water, so the BIKI Robotic Fish can be used to shoot clearly underwater.”

As far as control goes, above the water it connects via WiFi to your phone or tablet. WiFi doesn’t really penetrate water very far, so you can either program in a patrol route, or use an included underwater remote control that uses “acoustic communication technique” to work up to 33 feet. It doesn’t stream video or photos from under the water, that tech doesn’t really exist.
